Snoozer for the most part, but Iowa has the ball down 14-7 at the LSU 46 with 10 minutes to play

And they just failed on a fake punt...welp

LSU is the better team by quite a bit. Just haven't been able to seperate.

Are LSU guys faking injuries? Everyone seems to be getting injured... going out and coming back in...

LSU usually has a ton more talent on the field than most teams (outside of Bama), but tends to allow teams to stay in games. If Miles ever gets an offense to go along with his defense, they'll be hard to beat.

Watching a lot of the high school talent play for other teams other than UT just continues to confirm how clueless Dooley was when it came to recruiting. The midstate area alone has turned out a lot of Div IA prospects in the last 5-7 years. If this kind of talent would've been available for Fulmer during his heyday, he could've really racked up.

Dooley was a dumbass but why should he just be throwing out scholarships at guys who wont contribute until their 5th year senior year, if ever?

Maybe you need to go back and look at all the high school talent in the midstate that Dooley didn't even acknowledge while he was there. He was a buffoon. If he wasn't fired, we don't get Malone or Hurd this year. Ask any TN high school coach about Dooley. He was an aloof buffoon who thought it was beneath him to have to recruit.

Anything west of Chattanooga has been tough for Tennessee to get since 01. Dooley didn't ignore it, he was too incompetent to ever get them here.
