Looking back at some of the outstanding rookies in the career of this Illustrious Coach. Didn't delve too deep (Holly Warwick will not be included) just starting in the 90s.
Nicki Caldwell 90-91, Tiffany Woosley 91-92, Chamique Holdsclaw 95-96, Tamika Catchings & Semeka Randall 97-98, Kara Lawson 99-00, Ashley Robinson 00-01, Loree Moore & Shyra Ely 01-02, Alexis Hornbuckle & Nicky Anoskie 04-05, Candace Parker 05-06, and Angie Bjorklund 07-08. I can remember watching these girls play and the point I am trying to make is that all of these players had a great supporting cast. Players who have been there and done that. The freshman this year do not have the support that these great players had. Will they be added to this list? Only time will tell.
