Just got back from the game. The place was "JUMPIN!" Cal fans were sitting there........literally.........

Well, I got to meet some of the Volnation at Freak's spot and we are alot more handsome than I thought we'd be.

I took Eternal, his friend, and my brother with me and we had a blast!!

Even got to meet Smokey (the real Smokey)

Meachem: 5 receps for 182 yards

Ainge: 291 yards on less than 15 attempts.

Defense held Cal to 64 Total yards (even though Lynch had 74 and the other back had 1 yard)

TN rushing: over 200 yards

Best play of the game? Too many to pick. For me, it was probably Hardesty's run.

Overall, it looked like the good ole days.

Let's keep it up!!

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

My meach avatar is a tad too large... it is just a LITTLE bigger than my Cooter one, but VN won't accept it.

Here it is...

I just saw the highlights run on Sportscenter, and noticed that a bunch of Cal players gave up on Hardesty's run, then they saw him still running, tried to get to him and Meach came flying in to throw a nice block.

I'm so excited now!!! Giddy, really. :)

Not to be a party pooper, but I'm pretty sure this is wrong. Cal had 90+ yards on the last drive alone.

I think their total yardage was in the 200's though. It was still a good game by our defense. Honestly, I think if the offense hadn't been doing so well, our D would have kept the heat on and shut out Cal. It's really nice when the game doesn't fall solely on the defense's shoulders. Defense played well, so did the offense. There weren't many penalties, and I can't recall a single special teams miscue. Pretty great game all around.

The "64" was rushing yards. Dang incredible accomplishment. Hats off to the D.

BTW, Jason, Boomsday is tomorrow. Nice meeting you today!

Yeah, their final TOTAL yardage was over 300. Most of that was in garbage time... of course, stats are stats... but the only one that COUNTS is the score. :)

The real score was 35-0. Those 18 points Cal scraped up at the end don't really count. Either way, ESPN showed UT a little love:

#7??? Oh, and if you missed it, Woodson won the Heistman.
 Yeah, it was #3 in college football plays... amazing catch by a kid from La Tech, and a muffed punt return, then picked up by the returner and taken to the house for Clemson. Seems stupid to me to make a play in which the guy MUFFED the punt in the top 10.

The rest were golf and baseball.
