Hey, Kentucky is above .500 and bowl eligible this year. They will not be a pushover. They have Randy Sanders. lol

we should but they have and do play us very good most years. I do not think fifty is out of the question but I don't think it will get that bad but I could be wrong, and if I am I will be happy 50+ is always good. I wonder what they will do to combat Randy Sanders I wonder how much he knows about our defense

I have watched Kentucky play far more often that I would have liked this year. There defense is as bad as advertised, and I'm not yet sold on their offense, either. Woodson is much improved, and the system seems to be working better, but I don't think they have either the line or the playmakers to put up big numbers against a decent opponent.

UK's big offensive numbers have come against:

Texas St 41
Ole Miss 31
Central Mich 45
Miss St 34
Vandy 38
ULM 42

Against the better teams, it has been:

Louisville 28 (in a blow out by halftime)
Florida 7
South Carolina 17
LSU 0
Georgia 24

If Tennessee plays anywhere near decent football, this game should not be close.

I thought the same thing in 2004 when we played UK and Shane Boyd. You remember him. He was the worst QB in NCAA history that somehow managed to throw for over 300 yards against us.

We should be able to score 50 on KY. What do ya'll think?

We are able to, but will not. After we led by 5 TD in the 4th quarter, Fulmer would put all 2nd and 3rd strings on.

My predication, we won by at least 4 TD, because they put some trivial TD at the 4th quarter.

Pressure, for those pretender quarterbacks, the pressure will make them go back to mediocre. If I was our DC, (obviously I am not) I would bring at least 5 men blitz every time.

I remember him having a good game, but I don't think he got anywhere close to 300 on us.

Yeah, it was 218 yards that day, 2 TDs, one pick. A tough loss at Neyland, 37-31.

Clausen torched us for 348.

I guess I recalled incorrectly. Nonetheless, our defense took the game off and made him look like a really good QB. That's one problem I've always had with Chavis the last few years. I'm not calling for him to be fired, but I get tired of the defense not showing up for some of the games against weaker opponents.
