Since "Tiny" set the stage lets see what Volnation thinks..... I mean we did rush for 250+ yards against USV(didnt even know it was a d1 program) so we must be ready to rush against an SEC team right? Let's hear it volnation...Over/Under 100 Vs Georgia.

We rush for 150.. they rush for 150.. the difference will be at the quarter back position. Can't let Murray beat us with his legs and have to limit him through the air. If we hold him to around 200 through the air I think we have a chance.

Well over. According to the NCAA, Tennessee is 34th in the FBS in rushing offense. Against AP they rushed for 315 yards, 240 yds against WKU (the 83rd rated rush def in FBS), 178 yards against #46 ranked Oregon, 66 yards against #1 ranked Florida, and 278 against USA which is ranked 59th out of all FBS teams.

Georgia is currently ranked 39th in rushing defense. Against Clemson (which is rated the 61st best rushing offense in the country) Georgia allowed 197 yards on the ground. Against the 27th ranked Gamecocks they surrendered 226 rushing yards. They tightened up against #94 North Texas only allowing 7 yards on the ground. Saturday against number 55 LSU, they allowed 77 yards.

I can see the Vols rolling close to 200 yards on the ground if Marlin Lane's ankle is healthy this Saturday. Otherwise, I see Tennessee churning 150 yards on the ground with its available bevy of backs minus Lane.

It all relies on Worley. If he can make some great throws and keep the Georgia D honest, then we will probably have a good day rushing. If he can't, then we will likely see the Georgia linebackers cheat up and Georgia will bring 7 all day

I think our best shot is to stick to running the ball and win the battle of wills at the line of scrimmage...we can't out pass or out speed georgia...I'm hoping for lots of inside running with about a 4 ypc average...
