So far, my flume and pipes are handling the stormwater runoff from the McMansions neighborhood recently completed behind my property. The worst is forecast to follow as Helene moves north. The eye is ESE of me, now. A large tree just fell on my neighbor’s property. I’ve escaped serious damage so far. The power just went out.

Another 4-5” of rain is forecast for my area before the storm moves farther north, and winds should pick up and continue to be strong until ~5pm local time.
