Pac-10 Defense Is Horrible

What would the excuse be for Cal? They were supposed to have a GREAT front 7.

I am watching Boise State spot Oregon State 14 points and now they are rolling them up like a rug that you are about to store in the closet for the winter. Pac 10 = NO Defense

Yeah, Oregon State's defense does suck. Dennis Erickson recruited nobody when he was in Corvallis. The fact that they got even a decent player in Yvenson Bernard was dumb luck.

I thought Cal's front seven did fairly well, our beating the s**t out of them was almost entirely exploitation of a poor secondary.

What does that say about Tennessee, then?

200 yards combined rushing by three different backs isn't a good game for a front 7 on D.

Oh jeez. It's a team picked (probably correctly) to finish near the bottom of the Pac-10 vs. a Boise State team returning every single starter.

By definition, they cannot be overrated since they were never rated to begin with.

The PAC-10 look to be far behind the SEC, ACC, Big XII, and Big 11... just squeezing out the Big East, thanks to Southern Cal's recent undeniable play.

SEC and Big Ten, yeah... We'll see about the rest. Calvin Johnson looks like the only talented offensive player in the entire ACC, and the Big XII imo has no real national title contenders. Three very good teams in Texas, Oklahoma and possibly Nebraska then a bunch of crap.

Then the Big Least?? Come on, man. Get real. Now that Michael Bush is out, West Virginia is the only team in that conference that can even be classified as "good."

My conference rankings as of this moment:

1. Big Ten/SEC (Big Ten seperates if Penn State beats Notre Dame)
2. ACC
3. Big XII/Pac-10 (If no contenders pan out in the Big XII, Pac-10 seperates)
4. Big East

And if you think about it, ESPN only pimps the Ville because of an almost-win over Miami and then joining their favorite conference.

What excuses? I haven't seen any consistent good defensive play aside from USC.

EDIT: *UCLA's actually looked pretty good against Utah, and Oregon's was okay against Stanford.
