You know the offers were rolling in when you accept a position on a team that is loaded in that particular spot. He may very well earn a full time spot. But his stars will need to align....while staying the heck out of trouble. Last chances are exactly that.

I wouldn't exactly call Cincy loaded at corner. It's not like he was gonna be expected to come in and start this year, for the Bengals or any other team that may have picked him up. Anyway, I'm just more surprised he didn't sign earlier since they've been in talks for a bit. As long as a player's got talent, he'll get another chance in the NFL.

I put the over/under of non pre-season games he actually plays in this season at 2. And I'll take the under.

Well they might just have the best corner duo in the game right now with Leon Hall and Jonathan Joseph. Plus they drafted Morgan Trent last year and he performed alright for a 6th round pick and drafted Brandon Ghee this year in the 3rd round. So yeah they are loaded at the CB position.

From what I've read he has really matured and turned the corner in his life. I expect him to not only make the roster but win the #3 corner job behind Hall/Joseph.'

Also Cincy signed former Vol Gibril.

Yeah their starters are really good. Never implied they weren't. A rookie and 2nd year player backing them up means they're loaded? So loaded that you expect Pacman to win the nickelback job, which is likely the most they're expecting from him.

you know, there is a fair chance he could get/stay on the team as one of their return men, getting to starting at cornerback isnt necessarily the end all with him this season

Today was his first day back on the football field and he actually looked good going through the OTA. Can't say much going off limited clips in no pads practice but he does seem to have the same speed and looks in shape. I'm really thinking this could turn out as a good risk.

Really not a risk. Contract probably forces sainthood or firing and the guy can play ball.

I prefer to wait until the season is over to see how adding Cromartie works. On paper, yes they have the best duo, but what looks good on paper doesn't always work.
