This is looking pretty possible for Dallas if PacMan can just stay out of trouble. This is just vintage Jerry Jones.

What is everyone's thoughts on this?

btw I realize there arent many Cowboy fans on here, but I for one hope this happens. If it doesnt work out then fine we will probably draft a corner anyway but oh my goodness if it does work out...Terrance Newman and PacMan Jones in the same backfield? Are you kidding me?

Even if he is good on the field he is poison in the locker room. I do not think it is coincidence that after Pac man was released the Titan's seemed to gel.

Good God please don't let us get Pac Man.

TO has worked out alright so far, JJ needs to stop pushing his luck.

I have heard the Titans want a mid to late round draft pick which would be a steal to take that headache off their hands.

I have been a Cowboys fan for over 30 years. I will burn my jersey if this happens. I cannot support an organization that will pay this punk. You should sign up here and voice your opinions.

so you didn't mind all the off the field incidents that happened during your run during the '90s, but you are upset with the idea of PacMan?

That was then, this is now.

The successes Dallas has had lately with troubled players, has been with guys coming from disciplinarians (albeit ineffective ones) and learning to thrive with a players coach. PacMan had a players coach and failed miserably, and the outcome would be no different under Wade Phillips. He needs to go to a place that's going to kick his a**, put him on the bottom of the totem pole and make him earn respect. If that doesn't work out, which it probably won't, then he's done in the NFL.

And besides that, if he found that much trouble in freakin' Nashville, how would Dallas turn out?

i'm not saying PacMan would keep himself out of trouble, but I really don't see how all the drug problems can be condoned, but PacMan's issues can't. I wouldn't want either on the Redskins

No, I wasn't fine with it. Irvin, Nate Newton, Leon Lett, Hollywood Henderson, et al made me sick to my stomach. They tarnished the image of a proud franchise. If pukeman gets signed by the Cowboys, they may as well move to Oakland. But as I have gotten older, I am just tired of people getting away with murder because they can play ball. Somebody somewhere has to draw a line in the sand and say NO. My voice means nothing to the Jerry Jones's of the world. But enough of them would make a difference. If enough fans stopped supporting teams that gave these guys 4th, 5th, 6th chances you would see fewer of them getting signed and fewer of them getting in trouble. The pay is completely out of control and contributes to the problem. These guys are untouchable most times because they are instant multi-millionaires. They use their fame and money to do whatever they want without fear. And it's just wrong. And I for one am sick of it. This is why I don't watch the NBA or MLB. I am barely hanging on to watching the NFL and this might just put the nail in the old coffin.

fair enough, but there's no reason to trash Oakland just because the Raiders play there.

Never gonna happen. There's a reason there is a two millenium waiting list for season tickets in most NFL franchises. Emperor Goodell has done such a good job marketing the NFL based on its franchises and not its individuals (like the NBA) that most players can get away with anything while the public doesn't care.

Jerry Jones should hand Pacman his first paycheck then immediately snatch it back from him, telling him it was for "visual effect," like Pacman making it rain for strippers in Vegas only later picking the money up off the stage.

I grew up a 49ers fan so naturally disliked Dallas, but now have no problem with them (or allegiance to S.F.).
