I am friends with some of mothers of current Vol players (long story). Through them I have emailed back and forth with him.

I think it shows what an impact the rock has on recruits.

IT needs to say something like

Pat Martin = Next Eric Berry

or something, he idolizes EB

Let's do it. Hey Rex I hear the hostesses have a pretty good impact on recruits too. Just kidding by the way.

This

(and then when Walls comes, it should say Avery Walls = Next Eric Berry...and then when Randolph comes, it should say Brian Randolph = Next Eric Berry...)

I can't recall, but did Eric Berry have the rock painted for him?

I don't think painting the rock for recruits became a common occurrence until Kiffin was hired. So I would venture to say that the rock wasn't painted for Berry. Having said that I could very well be way off.

This might be a stupid question, but is it technically legal to paint the rock?

I ask because my wife is artsy, and while I'm sure they were joking, the suggestion to paint his image of the rock is kind of cool.

We both have the kind of jobs were the smallest legal trouble could be really, really bad though. :D

Someone painted Tobias Harris on there when he visited a while back. Would be sick if you guys could do something like that.

yes it's fine. Basically a first come/first served kind of thing

I have a cousin who's a Lt. on the UT police force who just confirmed for me that it is indeed legal.

Won't be able to do a lot this year because she's pregnant, but it would be great for both the kids coming in and her portfolio. We'll have to see what we can manage.

Did someone actually paint the rock before he was here this morning?
