I've never done it but would like to. Maybe we could have a Volnation paintball war one day. That would be great fun. I'm making my list right now of people that I want to get. :biggrin2:

I knew a guy who had his eye blown out by his best friend with a paintball, while lifting his goggles so he could see how to fix a jammed up gun.

Moral: Never, NEVER take off your eye protection.

I've never saw or found the appeal in shooting paint-filled balls. Why not just raise the stakes and use live ammunition?

i dont like to get shot either. it is fun to do the shooting, and when you get good you do more shooting than getting shot at. :gun: :machinegun:

I've never played paintball but I'm thinking about getting into airsoft next Spring. The guns are alot more realistic.

I find it kind of funny that parents are such weiners about this type of stuff these days. I remember having BB gun and bottle rockets fights with the kids in my neighborhood. We had some cuts and bruises and burns but no one ever lost and eye, ear, finger, etc. And we went for the juggular as a recall (head shots whenever possible). This was not all that long ago and while I can't say that our parents liked it no one was prohibited from participating. I wonder how things have changed so much in such a relatively short amount of time?

As for paintball, I am not really into it but I have played several times as a group activity. It seems like I have played capture the flag style and kill all the enemy style. I have only played in woodland areas, never on one of those courses you see on TV. BTW did anyone else play a capture the flag style game where you filled the end of a sock with dirt and threw them at people?
