Palardy is so clutch this year it's amazing. I hate when he ha to come out and punt but man I won't leave the room until I see him do his thing.

Could not be happier for any player on the team than I am for Palardy. Could not be more unhappy than I am that Palardy is our best player.

I haven't read where Jones was coaching Palardy's efforts. I may have missed it in all the dust ups.

Didn't you guys see the video of practice where CBJ had palardy kicking field goals with the whole team gathered around him and CBJ was sticking his finger in the ear-hole of his helmet to distract him and put him under pressure ?

damn straight CBJ is why palardy is doing much better this year.

He has played awesome. Any chances he gets drafted or makes a NFL team? He can both punt and kick FG's (saves a roster spot). He is a true leader and I am so glad to see his incredible improvement.

Talks with Butch may have boosted his confidence a lot. I didn't mean to undermine any of that. Was just curious who might have been working with him on his kicks. Confidence does have a lot to do with it and maybe he feels more at ease at this time.

Did you know that Dooley would tell him before he would go out and kick a field goal not to f it up? He says that this year CBJ has told him to visualize the kick going through. This is why I say his confidence was so bad last year. With the proper coaching it hasn't taken him long at all to get back to being the kicker that we all thought he was coming out of hs.

Me and my friends that watch the games have been calling him Palayboy all year. He's our #1 play maker.

If palardy was playing bad, it would be on Jones but since he is playing great, jones doesn't get the credit? Seems like a crappy job to have....

It is a crappy job some of the time. I'm not sure what your point is regarding what I posted. It seems that you've extrapolated something that doesn't exist in what I said.

I thought you were suggesting that jones may not be his actual coach therefore didn't deserve credit. Glad I'm wrong if that's not the case.

That's fine. I was just wondering if he might have had some outside help with the kicking. We've had some good kickers pass through here and I wouldn't put it past any of them to help out. I'm sure the vote of confidence from Jones goes a long ways in helping out.

Every time that there is a coaching change on a team, one or more players will have much improved careers. When Kiffin came to U.T. Compton & Hardesy immediately got better.

When Pearl came to U.T., Dane Bradshaw immediately improved.

Now that bUTch is here, Palardy has greatly improved.

When Dooley arrived here ???????? improved.

Crompton didn't do well until the UGA game. Ironic enough, that's when Worley played lights out.

???????=OFFENSE - in 3 years Dooley built one of the best in the country and one of the best in school history (recruited more or less entire highly touted O-line, Hunter, Patterson, and even Z Rogers was much improved during his senior year).

Uh you might want to check and see how many of those guys were recruited by Kiffin. Also Butchs first full class will be much better overall.

Encouraging to hear this from a member of the team after the way that we played last night. They all still believe in him, and really, IMO, there's no reason not to at this point. Still righting the ship, but definitely headed on the correct course. GBO.

Thats why I its stupid to give up on this season. While not likely we could very well upset Auburn and thats because these kids love Butch.

I bet win or lose these kids will play Lights Out Football this Sat

I did check - that's why I said MORE OR LESS the entire offensive line. But you are obviously refusing the see the bigger point which was that Dooley was a really good offensive recruiter and coach - he also proved that by hiring much stronger offensive staff than what we unfortunately have now. Of course Dooley's downfall was that all the good he did on the offensive side was nullified by hiring Sunseri.

you are correct but none of that matters now.

I agree 100%. This is why I wish people would stop trashing our former coaches (including Kiffin and of course especially Fullmer). But too many can't seem to help themselves - and when they are factually incorrect someone should point that out which is why all this nonsense keeps coming up over and over again.

I just hope he gets some consideration or something at the end of the year for some of the kicker/punter awards.

All American punter/kicker IMHO. He is a smart kid, and he has huge confidence in himself right now, which is what you want in a kicker.

He is a no brainier pick for an NFL team. He can do every kicking duty on the field well, all in one guy.... That they will have to pay Palardy$!$
