The first one scared the crap out of me...seriously. I was watching it by myself with the lights out...I felt like I was 7 years old...holding my breath everytime the saw the time at the bottom right hand corner of the TV.

I thought the first one was pretty intense as well. I enjoyed it, and im sure ill enjoy this one also.

bunch of haters in this thread

first movie was good, and i'm looking forward to see this one eventually as well. alot of the people that don't like these seem to be part of the same crowd who have to actually see the "monster/ghost/witch, etc" or else they think it sucks. the same thing could be said about some of the people who bashed the blair witch project when it was released.

Saw this one Sunday, nothing new really and it all seemed pretty unnecessary/forced. It was entertaining but overall, pretty meh.

The 1st was ok. It kept my interest & was a little freaky. Not that scary but the sort of stiff that made ur skin crawl a little. I will watch this 1 but it's not at the top of my list.

The first one was awesome. It is the only "scary" movie that has legitimately scared me. I've seen just about every modern scary movie the past decade, and the first Paranormal Activity was tops for me. The sequal was pretty good, but it just didn't have the same style and charm of the first. Overall, It was good enough to give me a few good scares and hold my interest.
