Taking my father to the game and need least amount of walking possible. How are the shuttles before and after the game?

Seems like there's always a million golf cart things taking folks back and forth. Maybe there's a way to grab one of them.

When I lived in maryville, I used to ride the buses at the mall and they dropped us off at the baseball stadium. Now that I live in Knoxville, I park in state street garage downtown for free and walk to the stadium.

Idk how expense they are these days, but maybe consider an Uber?

You can park at any downtown garage - State St. is the closest - walk to Krutch Park at Market St. There is a trolley that will take you round trip for $6-$10 per person. They drop off right above gate 21. I also hear you can park at the Colosseum and catch a bus as well, but I've never done that - not sure price or where it delivers to.

Bad thing about the bus though, is trying to get one when the game is over.

I often park behind Downtown Grill & Brewery (a $7 rate) or State Street Garage for free. Grab something in Market Square or somewhere on Gay Street for food, then catch the Shuttle at the south end of Krutch Park. The shuttles come throughout the morning/afternoon. I think it was $10 roundtrip for the Florida game, and they give you a wristband, which you can just put in your pocket. They drop you off right off of Cumberland by the Student Center and it's a couple blocks of slight downhill walking to Neyland, Gate 21. I'll admit the line for the shuttles after the games are usually pretty long and I usually walk back. Still, it's an option and just have patience and sing Rocky Top into the night through the traffic.

^^^^THIS!!!! I like parking at St Street garage. We usually catch the trolley to the stadium, but end up walking back. If you are limited mobility-wise, you can wait for the shuttle back but it might take a minute.

We took a bus from Foothills mall, (the end of the old JC Penny store) 10 bucks a head. We actually had an air conditioned tour bus. They dropped us off on the hill by the Baseball complex. Very good option.

The shuttle from Farragut High School drops you right off at Gate 21. The shuttle to the Coliseum drops you off towards the bottom of The Hill. If I were taking a person with me who had limited mobility, I would take the shuttle from Farragut. (I have ridden both.) It is a stress-free way to get to the game.

Sounds like getting there would be good but how long do you think you’d have to wait for a ride back?

They typically start running the shuttles at the end of the 3rd quarter. When I took that shuttle last year, we jumped right on, and it left within 10 minutes. (We left before the end of the game last year.)

This year, I have caught the one that goes to the Coliseum. We have had to wait 20 to 30 minutes to get a shuttle, but we have stayed for the entire game each time.

Thanks that’s really not too bad

I've parked at the civic center and rode the bus over. $10 for parking, and $7 for the bus I think the last time I done it.
