So I'm going to the auburn game with my parents and we're noticing all the parking lots/garages around the stadium are just for season ticket holders. Do any of you know of parking lots close to the stadium? I've tried to look but can't really find any. Just wondering if any of you might know. Go vols!

You can normally find parking near Children's Hospital (not in their lots, but near there). However, you'll pay about $20 on the average for a spot.

Some folks park all the way at Market Square (free) and walk or take a bus. You can also park at some of the frat houses that charge for parking - not sure what the fee is, but I'm sure it's pretty steep. A few of the local churches also rent out their lots on game day.

As a last resort, I know that the school coordinates shuttles from Farragut. I think it's around $15 and they bus you from where ever the official pickup location is all the way to Circle Park, which is the designated drop off point for all buses. I'm guessing that you can probably call the ticket office for details.

Before I became a student at UT, my parents and I would always park in the Holiday inn at Worlds Fair Park. It was $20 to park, but you could go in to the hotel and they had a good area to watch games either before or after the game. They also had a pretty good restaurant if I remember correctly. It's also not too far of a walk, and its a good place to wait for traffic to clear out while also being really close to I-40 and 75.

We live in Vonore and drive to Foothills Mall where we ride a shuttle bus to and from the Stadium. Round trip $10 per person. I leave the driving and parking to them. Have done this the last 6-8 years.

That's a pretty good idea! I was in ET last week and went to Naterz to watch NFL on Sunday and on Monday was in your neck of the woods to pick up some Benton's! :dance2:

We parked in Old City and took the bus for $6 per person with free parking for the USC game. It was great and we got right out on the road after the game was over too! Great experience!!

Benton's is the best available, ham or bacon.

I already had some ham slices from there so I got bacon and a sack of hot & smoked sausage. $2.59/lb for mild or hot and $3.49/lb for smoked. Not bad!

What is the place almost above it that has a sign that says "butcher shop"? Do they sell meat in there or is just a processing place?

Park at the Civic Center/Coliseum for $5 and pay an additional $6 per person to ride the bus to the hill. Best way to do it.

The Ronald McDonald house usually sells their parking spots on gameday. I didn't feel so bad giving them the $15-20 as opposed to a private lot. Plus, it's a quick walk to the stadium.

I park on 17th. It's $7. Now if your parents have mobility issues, just drive closer to the strip and pay the $20-30 range if you don't wanna park downtown and shuttle over.
