Parking Help

I don't get to come to enough Vol games to get acquainted with Knoxville parking. The last time I came I found a place that wasn't too bad - just one of those $10 or $15 lots a couple of miles up the strip. Once the game was over I turned right and eventually got back to the interstate without much hassle but I have no idea how I got to that place. I know it's close to a big hospital lot too - if someone could tell me where the big hospital lot is up the strip I could get there. I'm coming from Greeneville and will be traveling in West on 81/40. I'm pretty sure the last time I took the JWP exit but I got turned around alot trying to get in and finally found that lot. If there's even another lot that someone could recommend I'd appreciate it. I will be getting there at least by 11:00-12:00 tomorrow.

Thanks for any info in advance. I know there are parking maps on sites but I was looking for some "insider" info from the people who know the best.

Best bet is to get off on 17th street. I can't really tell you how to get back to that lot that you parked in last time, but my advice is to just be on the lookout right away. There are PLENTY of $10 and $15 dollar lots everywhere. If you want to get closer to the stadium, plan to spend $20, but honestly there are plenty of students who need "book" money and will sell spaces behind their houses. Good Luck and Go Vols.
