I wont talk about his time here. Given what happened last week, daddy Haden having to spank him, and this little tantrum I would say blaming the media is a huge joke. He is paid very well to be a professional and a representative of the university.

1. Do both school and conference rules apply to the situation in question?

2. Did certain members of the media knowingly break those rules?

3. Why is Kiffin obliged to speak to the media, anyway?

Coaches and programs want the media to highlight good things about the program so that it helps recruiting. I actually think Kiffin's decision to end the press conference because certain members of the media wanted to be jackasses and ask about injured players will help with the parents of many recruits.

One would think any reasonable person could see a football coach does have a responsibility to work with the media, rules or not. Nothing she said was a lie and when you make crazy Al Davis look a little less crazy it's not a good thing. :loco:

I don't think many parents will look at that and think hmm What a mature man I hope my son learns to stomp off like an angry kid when things don't go his way. Then again football coaches are not the men they use to be. Media asking injury questions about a players status is not being a jackass.

We will probably just have to agree to disagree and that's ok. It's what makes forums fun to be a part of. I'm just having fun watching him look like a fool and do it to himself. :good!:
