Agree for the most part with compromise as described in the passage.

The big question is what are the "principles" of the partisan :question:

Considering our whole basis of government is a giant compromise, I'd say that compromise can be a good thing. Standing on principles and having a stubborn mind that gets you no where are two different things. Would you be willing to get halfway to your goal or no where near your goal at all?
