Please review http://interact.cstv.com/recruiting/football.cfm

This list all the recruting classes ranks and even list the players UT has signed every year and how they are ranked.
This years senior class mostly consisting of the class of 2002 signings was reather a disppointment in regards to its ranking of the time. We lost James Banks and Aaron Kirkland due to conduct. Although rankings for a recruiting class mean alot at the time they should be judged and rated after 4 years. This class aside from Jason Allen, Gaither, and Haralson by far has been a bust.

ditto on the link

Well, I'm pretty sure this is going to turn into a round of kicking the same dead hoss, but the best use of it is emphasizing the fact that Fulmer & his team are excellent at recruiting and physically developing guys, and the only problem, though it's a biggie, is getting their heads game ready.

An interesting point- I'm a Duck fan, and not only did they not make the top 25 list in '03, but '02 either, yet look what they've done the last 2 years. What makes that especially telling, is that until late last year, Oregon has been at least- if not more- inconsistent & self-defeating than UT has. Now they're doing more with less projected talent...

That was a nice link...

...and after looking at it, I don't think the class was a bust. Compared to most schools, if you can get 75% of the class to contribute you're doing pretty good. We have a lot of contributors from this class.

I'd be curious to see how many of TX, USC, GA, and some of those teams have done with recent classes.

Our '98 class was awful if memory serves.
