I would love to hear the context of these excuses. If made in jest then no big deal but if he was being serious he is a bigger fool than I already thought and that's saying a lot.

This part really gets me.

Late Tuesday night, Pastner used the University of Memphis' men's basketball Twitter account to inadvertently tweet "Tony Parker," the name of a highly touted Class of 2012 big man from Georgia that the Tigers have long coveted. Even though Pastner deleted the tweet minutes later, by rule that constitutes a secondary violation because the NCAA prohibits coaches from publicly discussing unsigned recruits.

Asked Wednesday for an explanation for the errant tweet, Pastner told the Memphis Commercial Appeal he was trying to do an Internet search for Parker's name

34 years old and he doesnt know the difference between Google and Twitter? My ass. If Larry Brown throws out that worthless excuse, maybe. Josh Pastner, no. Sorry buddy.

If you knew anything about Josh Pastner, which you clearly don't by your comments, you would know he was joking and making light of a VERY minor infraction. And if being a fool means you are the head coach of an ncaa basketball team in your early 30s, then maybe we should all aspire to be a fool.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit I see. I was discussing context in which I said the comments were no big deal if he was joking.

As for him being a fool. He damn sure isn't the sharpest tool in the coaching shed. No coach has done less with more than boy wonder. His coaching career isn't going to be a long one now that he is moving to big boy varsity athletics.

Next thing you know, she'll be complaining that his Harley is too loud!

Pastner's wife was also overheard saying:

.........."and you always seem so tired when you finally get home from the office.

Maybe you should hire that young graduate you were talking about. Don't you have a position open?"

He was doing a Twitter search to get the latest on Tony Parker. Not an internet search. Typed it in his status instead of his search. The guy who ran their Twitter account is now the coach at NAU. Josh is going to have to learn how to become a little more swift with it.
