Pat Ryan as a colorman on the UT games

what do you guys think about Pat helping out with the play by play? I'm watching the CSS broadcast of the UT game vs. Memphis and Mike (can't remember his last name) is doing it instead of Pat Ryan and I like Mike better. Am I the only one?:ermm:

I don't really pay attention the announcers on CSS that much, so I can't comment on that.

I do however, owe the offensive line an apology I think. I was bad mouthing them in the game thread about that goal line stand by Memphis.

Having just seen it on the replay, it wasn't really their fault. Their blocking wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't bad either. Hardesty should have scored on any one of those plays. He just made terrible choices as to where he was trying to run.

I never cared too much for PR whenever I heard him on Titans' broadcasts... he's nowhere near as bad as Mike Keith, but eh.

I hope I don't get shot for saying this, but I wish Mike Keith would do both the Titans and Vol game on radio:unsure:

His only bad choice was not running like a bat out of hell when he got the ball.

His announcing skills aren't great but he calls a spade a spade and makes the powers that be nervous!

I don't know about that. But I do know that he makes some of the most obvious statements and is horrible with his calls. He is one of the most boring I have ever heard. In my book he ranks below the JP guys.

I dunno... they were doing them as recently as last year. I really liked Terance.

i wouldn't care if Mike Keith came down with a disease that caused him to be mute for the rest of his life.

honestly, i think the replay of the game on CSS should be me and one of my buddies doing the play by play, during the re-run and not the actual game itself, while drinking. that would be entertaining.
