Pat Tillman's father has his say.......

The army lied to him about how his son died, he has a reason to be angry.

A friendly fire death, I'm sure the father felt the Army sould have done more to prevent a tragedy like that.

Michael Moore. One American Hero telling the story of another American Hero.

I'm sure Pat, who forfeited millions to serve his country in a dangerous war, would be just thrilled some fatass is about to use his life story to simultaneously make millions and slander America.

His father has every reason to be upset that he was lied to.

Friendly fire deaths while unfortunate and can be curbed to some extent are just another unfortunate aspect of the dirty business called warfare.

anyone who could take a look at Michael Moore and Pat Tillman and use the same words to describe them has no grasp on reality. It's sad and almost sickening someone could think that way

if you think MM in any way qualifies as a hero then I'm not sure what to say. I'm sure you also believe healthcare in Cuba is the best.

The fact that you included him in the same breath as Tillman is honestly an insult to what kind of man PT was. The world would be a much better place if there were fewer MM's and more PT's

s- happens. his death is no more tragic than any other man who dies during duty. while an interesting story, i'm not sure why tilman is lionized to the degree he is. it almost takes away from the rest of the heroes.

In a recent LAlimes article PT's mom blasted McChrystal as being responsible for the cover up.

If only you knew him.

Knew how?? Tillman?

Did you know him??

Yeah, the only good thing Michael Moore did was Bowling for Columbine. Everything else is just him cashing in on what everyone wishes were true.

lots of chatter today on Twitter about Pat

From Peter King

One Ranger told me Tillman was "an idiot'' for leaving the NFL to serve, and many of them thought he had ulterior motives for it. He didn't.

One other Tillman point: Two yrs ago, on USO trip to Afghanistan, I was stunned at anti-Tillman sentiment by Army Rangers I met ...

I'm not saying Pat Tillman was murdered. But just watch the movie, listen to the witnesses, and the thought will cross your mind.

The movie claims Pat was shot in the head 3 times at close range with an M16. Why? I dont know, but some are claiming he was "fragged" because he had set up a meeting (on his return) with a notable government critic to discuss how the Iraq was was illegal. It sounds like he rubbed people the wrong way. Whats yalls thoughts?

Rightfully so, he has made so much ideological crap based on half truths or outright fabrications that he's called into question any work of his legitimate or otherwise. If he's responsible for it I don't watch it.

From what I've read, Pat should have stayed behind the rock, instead of standing up and yelling at the troops firing on him.
He was uphill with the sun behind him, so he had soldiers firing at him with very little chance to properly identify him given the time of day, circumstances and enviornment..

Tragic accident, that's still being exploited
