Just watched it through ~ twice in a Doubletree Hotel bar in New Jersey. Unbelievable show. ESPN does not hate Pat Summitt.

She means so much to women's sports and to this university. I have so much pride in being a Tennessee Vol and a Tennessean. And a part of that is due to this woman. There were thousands of grown men that just shed a tear during that broadcast. Truth!

It makes me feel very proud to be a Tennessee Vol. She had such a huge impact in so many people's lives.

Great documentary.

My wife bought me Pat's book "Sum it Up" for my birthday. I finally got around to reading it last week. It was a great read -- very inspirational -- and gave me an even greater level of respect for an absolute icon.

We were very lucky to have her here.

Very difficult final 5-7 minutes to watch. The tone inside that locker room following the loss to Baylor in her final game was about the most emotional I have ever seen. And then to watch Coach break down (as much as we'll ever see her "break down") describing how hard it was to walk away when she didn't want to, was gut-wrenching.

She is very lucky to have Tyler in her life, and vice-versa. They compliment each other so well, and her best parts are parts of him now.

If you haven't read the book "Sum It Up", you need to. It is like this documentary but includes a lot more. It shows Pat as person and not just a big name celebrity. The times I've talked to her, it was just like talking to your neighbor next door. I've been lucky to speak to her at times with no one around and I can tell you, she is not some made up story. She is just Trish from Henrietta. She doesn't seem like a celebrity when you talk to her. She is what Tennessee is all about.

watched last night with my wife and tried to explain what Pat meant to UT and Knoxville. She's only been following UT since we met in 06 so I know she just didn't get why she was so huge. It was sad to watch but I think they did a really good job of telling her story without focusing on her health for too long. She deserves to be remembered as the giant roaming the sidelines and hanging banners. Also as a class act who made people around her better

I grew up in Henrietta and still live a couple of miles away and I can tell you that everybody was watching this last night. This little town would just stop when the Lady Vols played.

For me, when it comes to the Big Orange, Pat Summitt and the Lady Vols is the epitome of what the VolNation stands for. This coming from a person who has been all Vol football all the time for more than 50 years, season tickets, 25 year attendance without missing a game which included traveling from Anchorage to Knoxville not to miss a game against Arkansas, all of that. As a student, I had the incredible luck of being at Game #1 which we all know was a loss. I recall in the early days one game where Trish Roberts outscored the entire Kentucky team. No matter how football and the other sports cycled through ups and downs, the one constant was Coach Pat and the Lady Vols upholding the Big Orange tradition of excellence through and through. I recall writing her a letter after the 1991 National Championship. At that time, Tyler was a todler as was my daughter who is just a couple of months older than he is. In the letter, I commented about Tyler mentioning that he was about the age of my daughter. She wrote back and said that she hoped she could coach my daughter some day. I have that letter in a frame. Awesome, awesome Lady. When people have asked me throughout the years who do I think is a role model, I have always been proud to say that is easy question to answer -- Pat Summitt.
