if anyone is offended, i am sorry. i am a major ut fan i am gonna be frank. this team stinks. and is just pathetic. we need to make some changes in the offensive coaching staff. and if these guys who make these kinds of desicions dont realize that, then this program is gonna sink way down.

we need a qb more than anything. clausen is a joke. just a joke. he had one maybe two games. big deal.

u are absolutely right! We have the players to beat georgia but looked so poorly coached. Problem is either Sanders, Fulmer, or Clausen's inability to throw a pass route beyond 3 yards. Georgia defense didnt even have to break a sweat. the only comparison i can draw is the new york yankes. With the players the yankees have, they should win every world series. Now i know that Tennessee's level of talent cant compare to that, but we have great players. Bottom line Joe Torre and Phil Phulmer must suck.

P.S. how did we win against LSU :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad:

This loss IMO boils down to the kicking game and penalties, we can't cover punts or kickoffs, and we can't return punts or kickoffs, and starting from your own 5 yrd line, was 4 or 5 times, and how many penalty yrds did we have , I don't know what it is but this team seems self destructive, and I'm sorry but Gawga's Defense as at least as good as ours, not making excuses but I would love to see this game again after a bye week for us.

Best defense...worst offense. I wouldn't lump the whole team into this. This might be the first time I've seen a teams performance so lopsided.

clausen threw for 310 yards with 58% pass completion. We only had 52 yards running. one person does not win or lose a game. the whole team sucked and that starts at the top

ok then, this is the worst performing offense and the most wasted talent I have ever seen in my life. No offensive talent has ever been wasted like tennessee's has been this year. we should be averaging 30 points a game. turnovers by rick clausen in the endzone and poor redzone execution is killing the team. I have never seen a tennessee team never be able to get it into the endzone like this one here.

We should at least hang 30 or 40 on UAB, and Ole Miss.

those games are over, let them go and worry about the next team, Bama

This loss boils down to our stupidity and our lack of preparation and Georgia coming to play and following through. We flat out sucked, and Georgia was focused.

I agree Clausen had 300 yards.....BIG DEAL!!! It's NOTHING without scoring. Clausen told the media that it doesn't matter if they get 100 yards or 500 as long as they win.

I would like to say in this instance that it doesn't matter if you have 300 yards or 1000 if you don't score.

Our offense is sorry.

MEDIOCRE! We seem to be moving into the middle to low end of the pack...since 1999 we have had one major disappointment after another. However, we seem to continue to do great with the pre-season hype....it is just hard to believe that we have come to this....MEDIOCRE! CBC stole my first word I was going to use...pathetic.

I would say Scitzophrenic, how can we look so great in a miracle comeback and so sorry this week (yeah I know we weren't spectacular last week but I still say they did pretty dang good for so little time to prepare)

We heard on the VolNetwork coming home from the game that we have NOT WON in our stadium to a top 10 team since 1999!!! Can you imagine that? I have been a fan since the early 60's and I must ask the question....what happened to us from 1999-2005? How can a team ever be a threat in the SEC if they cannot win the BIG GAMES AT HOME???

That last TD by GA worries me a bit. I have contended all along that the defense will eventually tire of the current state of affairs and give up. On a much smaller scale, I played on one of those defenses. It will divide a team much quicker than you think.
