Okay, I have been thinking about the decision Patrick is making. If he goes to USC, he might have a shot at the national championship ring next year. Maybe. It is never a sure thing. But then what?

If Pete Carroll was considering any kind of move to the NFL this year, what will he be thinking after he loses Leinart and Co. next year?

It has to be factored in by these recruits that the present coach might not be around after next year or the year after.

I think, along with others, that the stability of our coaching staff is a HUGE factor when it comes to recruiting.

So, it's your turn Patrick. Join the Juicetrain. The whistle's blowing for ROCKY TOP!

Not to mention that we've got Crompton heading this way, with Ainge already here. That sounds like a lot of balls are getting ready to take flight over the next 4-5 years. Wouldn't Turner look good catching them?

Anybody that would pick USC at this point does not want to earn a title, they want to ride the coat tails of those who earned it before them. I hope Turner has the guts to be a real man and drive instead of ride. If he decides to go to USC, it's not going to hurt TN. We wouldn't want him anyway if he has no desire to be legitimate, because this class coming in is going to be a class of DRIVERS, who want to be original and make thier own name. All the dots are connecting for this class to be the best of the best. Those committed and those that are coming to wear the POWER T, look at them, no slackers, they are those who chose to earn thier destiny and make thier own name. The writing is on the wall, they'er ALL coming to TENNESSEE to be a part of something special that occurs rarely, maybe once in a generation. The Dream Team is assembling in Knoxville and books will be written on what came together this year.

We will wait and see. I'm hoping that Tennessee plows through their SEC foe to meet USC in what may surely be one of the best matchups of all time. USC, going for an unprecedented third-straight AP National Title while Tennessee's team culminates years of building up since the 98 championship in a glorious run.

Who will win? Who knows. But I would surely crap myself if such a thing happened.

meachum/swain- freshman/sophmore
