I bet he is counting his blessings! Anybody know if he is getting any playing time at SoCal?

What did he know? USC is about to play for a 3rd straight title, that's what.

He's doing pretty well. USC is playing him a fair bit, he will be their #1 receiver soon enough.

An idiot could see the RS disaster coming. This would have happened in'03 but we beat UM and '04 but we beat Ga. This should have happened long ago. And it would NOT have happened had they interviewed for this position in '99.

I always thought that their hand was forced a little bit when they won the National Championship game with Randy calling the plays.

If you think about it, poor Randy had nowhere to go but down after that.

He was visibly put of his comfort zone that night. In over his head then and ever since. Trembling hands etc. This decision is the best thing for our program since the signing of Peyton Manning.

Let's see where USC is next season compared to UT.... as well as where they each are in '06, '07, and '08.

Norm Chow's influence won't last long.... just like it faded after he left NC State.

He knew he would rather live in LA than Ktown. Who knows what an 18 year old kid is thinking?

Didn't he give UT a verbal? What does everyone think about other recruits who have given verbals(i.e. McClendon) and decide to go elsewhere because of recent turmoil?

turmoil.... its the same at all schools

Chris Simms did it a few year's ago. Didn't have to do with turmoil just some promises from Texas.

Spurrier uses it as a tool to hurt other programs recruiting. He'd get alot of signees on signing day that had given verbals to other programs. He'd tell them not to publicly commit to Florida. Those other programs lost out on other players because they had already focused on the players that eventually signed with Florida. Spurrier's not the only coach doing that either, but his the first one that came to mind.
