If he's on the board at 14, I think Carolina would definitely take him...but he won't still be there. Carolina will go BPA WR, CB, S, OL, DT. I predict it will be Sheldon Richardson, Kenny Vaccaro, or Xavier Rhodes. Any of these guys would help the team immediately.

I'm thinking Milliner or Slay at CB, but they'll probably be gone by then as well. Eric Reid would be a nice addition at S, but not at #14 I wouldn't think. Even if Patterson were to somehow slip to #14, I think the Panthers will go D on the first pick.
