Because Jones already participated in a game, he would not be eligible to play for another team this season. With the sanctions, however, he could transfer and play for another team next year.

He should have transferred while he could. I think he wants to go to Pitt

Did he lose a year of eligibility because of those couple of plays?

Might be worth pursuing given the lack of depth at TE. Especially if he still has 3 years of eligibility. 4* coming out and currently 6'3 258, that's a big boy. Maybe even put him in a wildcat on short yard situations or something? Guessing he's pretty hard to bring down once he's get a little momentum going. Add in a couple throws to catch teams off guard? Do Tebow's stupid little jump pass? Just a thought...

He's a qb on a decimated squat that they thought so little of, they plugged him in at tight end... And for that reason he left. Do not want on any count. Not the caliber of athlete we need
