I had Rhapsody forever, mainly because I could have my own playlists and use them with my mp3 player. Music to go and I LOVED it!! But then they quit supporting mp3 play. I guess because of so many cellphones. Which sucks because I don't wanna use my memory on my cell for music. But whatever.

So I still have Napster (formerly Rhapsody) and I like it. Multiple playlists is my jam. I just have to either have wifi or be willing to use my data.

Anybody use another pay service? What do you like about it? What do you not like about it?

Amazon has a free version with your membership. I splurged for $4 a month for the unlimited...works better with Alexa.

I have whatever you call the google thing. And I have an android phone. Would be nice to just tell it to play a certain playlist. (I feel so old right now.)

Google’s version of Alexa? Should be similar enough. It’s cool to say play 70’s rock or 80’s country and remember the songs as they play.

I have thousands of songs on various playlists. That's why I don't wanna give up napster. But I just did a free trial of google and the Google Home doesn't even recognize it.

Spotify Premium. Easy to create and share playlists, can download to devices with the premium subscription, great selection of podcasts, abundance of live show albums.... I use it for probably 90% of my music listening.

i still do free pandora. i'm cheap. and i know how to use Pandora. lol. probably time to splurge on a smart home device. we have pandora on the roku and use it all the time. would be more convenient to just tell it to play whatever..........i have amazon music as well, and like it, just don't use it all that often.

both my kids have alexa in their rooms and i'm honestly not sure what music service they use, but i hear them all the time "alexa play...."

I signed up for Apple Music in the last and loved it but couldn’t justify keeping it when there are so many other options out there that I already have: Pandora, Spotify, iHeart Radio, Sirius XM app and Amazon Music

Apple Music is perfect for Apple users. Spotify is the other one I use (for my ps4)

I used iTunes Match for last several years... still do in fact... but got a couple Echos over Christmas times and Match doesn’t work on them, although Apple Music does. Had a trial of Amazon Music and it worked great but ultimately went with Spotify because came with a Hulu sub

Spotify has no support. Stay away. They have no customer support. They literally do not have a phone number. They remove $11 a month from my checking account but insist my account does not exist with them. I get ads when I use it even though I am paying for premium.

We didn't renew our Prime subscription and "temporarily" downloaded Pandora on everything. Haven't even thought about it since.
Lets you dislike songs and I've found getting away from playlists has been an improvement for us.
Never have to hear anything I don't like but hearing more random surprises. I'm with you, doubt I'll go back to anything else.
We just decided sometimes it's more fun/interesting not taking total control.

Weird. I have Premium and never see or hear any ads. I've never had a reason to call customer service, so I can't comment on that.

I love how easy it is to create, share, and download playlists. You can also make them public to friends (via FB, etc) if desired or borrow friends' lists. I've got a few large lists that several friends use.

I hate the new format. My songs aren’t saved anymore by artist. My albums are all gone that we’re partial. I actually dropped Spotify today.
