I'm still lost to how OSU stays #5 in the BCS and they get selected.
It was all over for us anyway once K-State beat up on OU last night anyway...basically made for a one team at large bid (for all intents and purposes)

Not only does the Peach Bowl suck, but can you imagine how hard it will be for our guys to get motivated to play in it...I bet they'd rather be on the couch watching the rest of the games.

You have to think USC is the team that really got screwed in this whole thing. And really Texas is the one that got screwed by Kansas State since you can't have three teams from the same conference in the BCS. It still came down to us and Ohio St. I really thought that when I heard FSU was in the Orange Bowl that it was going to be us. Hard to believe we are gonna see a FSU/Miami rematch. If you think about it we got shunned by the Outback, the Capital One, and the Cotton.

At least the Cotton and Capital One can justify their decisions. The Cotton almost always takes an SEC West school and it's hard to argue with the SECCG loser getting into the Capital One. The Outback has no excuse. They had a shot at getting a top 10 team that guaranteed ticket sales and they passed?!?! I always try to pull for the SEC during bowl season, but a part of me wants to see Florida get annihilated just to prove a point.

All in all, the Peach Bowl matchup is a lot more interesting and could help recruiting more than a matchup against the Big 10. I'm not sure if that's worth the $500,000 difference in the payouts, but I'm trying to find a silver lining here.
