Expect to see a lot more of this type article. Pearl has a personality, knows the game, and communicates well. All qualities that the press laps up like kittens at a bowl of milk. Add actual success to the mix, and you can expect to see plenty being written about Big Orange Basketball.

At the end of the article I saw one of those "Ads by Google" boxes... Freaky, are you paying Google to advertise the site?!?! Plain as day "Vol Nation" was on there...

19 out of 20 sports going to post-season play!?

I guess that was 2004 but still pretty darn impressive.

Yeah, that was last year, and the best we can do his year is 19 of 20... the stupid football team didn't make postseason play! Geez... they need to get their act together...

To start off, Im new to the vol board. Im deeply surprised that the ajc is writing a pro-tennessee article. Living in the hot bed of uga and tech country I have to read vol bashing 365 days out of the year. Its great that AJC is finally witnessing true
college basketball talent and coaching, we know its not coming out athens or atlanta. To finish off, its going to be a treat talking about the greatest team ever in college sports.

It hasn't taken long for the bandwagon to fill up that's for sure....I'm glad we landed Bruce Pearl and finally our men's basketball team is winning big games again :dance2:

IMO only a matter of time before Pearl is considered one of the elite coaches in the nation.
