Has pearl-gate finally started affecting the team? The team held together for the first 7 games and were even strengthen by the adversity. But has the rush of adversity worn off and the kids are be affected by the thought that their coach might lose his job? I want you opinion, could this be the problem? How can we go from beating two top ten teams to being beat by teams that are winning about half their games?:ermm::ermm:

My thoughts exactly. I think the "uncertainity" is taking is toll on the team right now. I am surprised it has taken this long.

I don't think "pearl-gate" as you call it is part of the problem. Maybe a little, but after how they played early on I don't see why it would matter these last 2 games

I think more so, the fact the steven pearl and mcbee are averaging 13 minutes a piece and both are doing nothing offensively and costing us defensively

Unfortunately, PF doesn't stand for Points For in a boxscore. They're making up for their lack of points production with fouls committed. Gotta reach the scorebook somehow.

I do think it's very possible that the cloud of uncertainty is affecting the team. Emmert's statements that alluded to Pearl possibly receiving a heavy supension just came out this week. I think it was Tuesday. To me, the NCAA handed UT a punishment just by making those comments. The NCAA is handing UT another punishment by waiting until June to make the final ruling.
