The suspension is lifted. What is the point of pretending that McBee is better than Tatum. Tatum should be playing betwee 25+ minutes per game. Also, Goins was actually playing marginally well and is a significant upgrade over Bone. If we weren't going to use the kids, we should have just dismissed them.

I don't think this team should be using the "We ran out of gas" excuse when two of the better players continue to sit the bench in favor of players that lack SEC talent.

ya, the suspension is lifted, but Bruce shouldnt just give tatum/goins more minutes. they need to earn it back in practice and when they get their chance on the floor. I also agree that he should have went ahead and kicked them off the team.
Imo, tatum/goins arent really SEC talent either.

They have played virtually none. I'm all for easing them back into the rotation but not at the expense of the conference handing our ass to us. Tatum is infinitely better than McBee and is most definitely SEC caliber. Goins, while admittedly not great, at least has some ability to penetrate. Bone basically has to get rid of the ball as soon as he crosses the half-court line. He is simply not a point guard.

That's what happens when its scholarship athletes vs. walk ons. Tatum/Goins will eventually get more minutes, but Bruce has to keep his standards. You cant say one thing and do another. You lose integrity that way. You dont change your morals just to win a few more ballgames. I know it stings to watch, but know that he's doing the right thing and it will work out for the good. This year is a learning experience. Hopefully the vols will be rollin come tourny time.

This is a funny post/argument since it involves Bruce Pearl. Irony.

I would love to sit the guys and punish them, but i think that we need to look into working them in some.
