I am sure that PTI is bringing him to back up their talk about him on yesterday's show. Yesterday when no one knew what Pearl would do they had a segment near the top of the show about how Bruce was one of their favorite coaches and how they thought he would be a great fit at Memphis, etc....Today is just a followup on that. Don't down Bruce because the guys on PTI like him. Geesh!

BP is keeping Tennessee in the news. I for one think its great. Our coaches constantly keeping Tennessee on ESPN is great for recruiting.:clap:

He says he never thought about taking the memphis job. He wanted more job security at UT. He thinks Calipari will have UK as a preseason favorite for sec if meeks/ppat come back. Thought Calipari was recruiting for kentucky while he was delaying his decision.

...and he thinks carolina will beat uconn in the NC game, due to psycho t

The most interesting part, to me, was when they asked him if he thought he deserved a raise for his work this season.

He pretty much said that he did not deserve a run for this season, but its more about his body of work.

No talk about Billy Clyde. Talked about Calipari, and BP said that it was good for the SEC and for ESPN. Said that he thought Cal would take his recruits with them, and that UK will be in the Final Four or Elite Eight soon.

Bruce also talked about college coaches getting paid so much, but I didn't a whole lot of attention to that part. I think he said that if the coach deserves it, then so be it. I could be wrong on this.....

BP picked NC over Uconn....
