He shouldn't have to coach effort, but a coach should find a way to motivate his players one way or another.

He should coach Chism to start playing his position and stop taking stupid 3 pointers...

On PG defense: "Our Point Guards didn't do a good job of containing Gerrity. Our wings also didn't do well with help defense. It was the same thing all night long."

He also says the seniors and Hopson need to step up. He thought it was a perfect storm. USC played well and Tennessee contributed to it a little bit.

Perhaps he should try coaching a half-court offense and defense. Effort is the least of our problem at this point.

He don't want to hurt their self-esteem. You know how our players are......they get their feelings hurt.

How hard would it be for him to let down his veil of pride and bring in somebody with some new offensive philosophies?

I know even Cal went and met with a HS coach just to learn that dribble drive stuff...

The sports animal is garbage and the people that call in sound like they've lived under a rock and never seen a sport played. Either way, Bruce better find a way to motivate. For over 2 million dollars, he better win games, motivate, and do my laundry. That's too much money lol

He had better learn how to coach 'talent'. This team is lazy and was last year. This years team is the same lazy bunch that played last year.
