Pearl Wants A Place To Hang.

Pearl wants a post-game gathering place for fans to revel in victories, to hobnob about hoops. He wants to build a bond with UT fans. Any suggestions anyone? I also read that Smith is playing it cool with his commitment to TN until after he has met with Pearl. I would have anticipated more eagerness on his part since he reportedly would be such a good fit for Pearls physical style of play.

The Tennessee Grill is right across from the arena on the river. The only problem with that location is that the police would have to drag the river after each game with all the drunks falling in the drink.

With a 65 million dollar budget, the athletic dept could build him a place to hang. Since the Tennessee River Pearl is the offical state gem then it should be something close to the arena on the river. maybe a floating barge converted into a bar. We can call it PEARLY'S PLACE! Any investors?

It would have to be off campus. UT is a "dry" campus.

Well then the barge idea would work since it is off campus. Maybe that paddle wheel boat could pull up to the dock by the arena on game night and they could allow it to be used as PEARLY"S PLACE. They could call his following the RIVER RATS or PEARLY'S PACK".
