I was there...it was 3rd and long, less than 2 minutes to play. Defense wasn't stopping anybody. He was trying to make a play and was stupid.

That day was hot and humid. 70K fans just sat in their seats stunned for a good 5 minutes after the final horn.

There was more time than that left. I was there too. There was 3:52 left after the INT. I have believed that if Lorenzen throws it away or is sacked, UK punts, and UF drives down and wins anyway, as that was how the game was going. Also, the INT happened on 2nd and 7. If anyone should be blamed for UK's loss, it should be whoever was responsible for 12 men being on the field when UF punted late in the 3rd quarter, after going 3 and out, trailing 21-3. UF looked like they were sleepwalking the whole game until UK committed that penalty.
