The Falcons released wide receiver Peerless Price on Tuesday. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the move will save the team roughly $2 million in salary cap space this season, but it will cost the club $5.7 million against the 2006 salary cap. "I hate y'all," Price told reporters as he left team headquarters for the final time. Peerless logged 109 receptions for 1,413 yards and six touchdowns during his two seasons with the Falcons.

Wow, I hate to hear that. Maybe he will catch on somewhere else. It was obvious that Atlanta was not the best place for him.

The Titans and Eagles are two teams that are rumored to have some potential interest in Price.

It stinks they (ATL) waited this long, Peerless should land somewhere better fitted for him. That Eagles or Titans rumor sounds really nice. :cross:

I think he will end up in Dallas....they could use the help and he meshed well with Bledsoe in Buffalo.
