Whatever happened to posting bills online for three days before voting so we could actually read the bills ourselves, instead of finding out about it when it becomes law?

this is such BS. The government is a respresentation of the people, the elected leaders are to make decisons based upon the will of the people. The people arent to wait and unwrap what commu-clause has brought them. Bunch of goons, the whole lot of them. Bunch of blood suckers.

You can already view the bill online morons. Most of you are just too lazy to read it; thus, they have to pass the bill for you to see what is in it.

The bill is constantly changing. On several occasions the Dems have passed bills in the house that were still being written at the time of the vote. And Barry's health care plan is not the same as the bill that is in the House.

Lol. Not read it. "Find out what is in it". Because the majority of people are too lazy to find out whats in the bill, and rely on Limbaugh and Glenn Beck for their news, they have no idea what's in the bill. Passing the bill allows it to take effect...allowing you to find out what is in it.

Not necessarily, but the majority of people like this bill when they find out what is in it. As a christian, I don't understand how its possible to deny people health coverage, regardless of their financial situations. Not in America.

Umm you realize that much of the bill doesn't "take effect" for several years?

you realize that it wasn't until the final passage of the Senate version that we learned of all the special deals ?

you realize that the house has to pass the existing Senate bill before a new bill is crafted and sent through the Senate then back to the House again?

you realize that Obama's plan has not been revealed in sufficient detail for CBO scoring (I guess Obama is too lazy)?

you realize that if the House passes the current Senate version it will be signed and chances are strong no amended bill will be forthcoming - so we get the kick-back loaded bill?

I'm sure you knew all this already.

who is denied in the US? The issue for me is it seems quite wasteful to spend trillions of dollars on something to cover so few.

No one in this country can be denied healthcare, anyone can walk into an emergency room and get care.

The emergency room won't give you medications to help you live with cancer or anything deemed 'pre-existing' be the insurance agencies. You have to have insurance to cover these costs. 40 million Americans don't have health insurance because they can't afford it. If they get sick, they go without medical help.

have you heard of medicaid? you know that thing that pays for medications for cancer and other pre existing conditions for people who can't afford it.

The number of uninsured Americans who can't afford insurance is only about 12 million. And there are plenty of ways to fix the problem without a complete socialist take over.
