Penalty marker mystery???

Have you ever noticed that as soon as a flag is thrown during a ball game, the little yellow flag icon pops up on your tv? Do the networks pay a guy just to hit a flag button when this happens? Sounds like a good gig. Maybe someone has insight as to how this works. I know it doesn't rank up there with our DC woes, but it makes me curious. Little help Vol fans?:hi:
