If you would've told me Penn State would finish above .500 after all the scandal drama I would've  in your face. But those kids played their tails off and finished 8-4.

I wish our Vols had that type of grit, heart, determination....better yet testicular fortitude to overcome adversity. I hate Penn State...for all the evil that occured there...and that they have U.T.'s # but it is impressive how much moxy those players had all year game in and out. JMO...:hi: flame away.

But...Derek Dooley inherited such a horrible disaster of a program. No one in the history of sports has ever had to fight through that kind of adversity.

The farther we get from Dooley the more I'm beginning to see just how far he drug us down! I'm glad out players aren't verbally bashing him, but actions speak louder than words, and its plain to see he was not a players coach at all. This team has the potential bit lacked leadership from the tip top, the HC.

And how many big names transfered out. Big 10. SEC. Doesnt really matter. Coaching and heart made the difference.

They did well, but once this core of seniors graduates and the sanctions really kick in, things will get a lot worse.
