I've watched lamont wade play, and now I'm watching the class 5A game, and I tell you what, butch needs to be up here recruiting, the talent up here in the 5A game is unreal. There's a kid up here actually 2.. Raheem blackshear, archbishop wood.. And Harrisburg's Micah Parsons.. Those two are u real.. Lamont wade ain't got nothing on them. Those two are studs..

Why? Kids grew up Big 10 born and Big 10 bred. Better use of our dollar to work on all the talent in the SE.

Also, none of our coaches have in roads to the HS system like the Big 10 schools.

PA would be one of the most expensive recruiting grounds with minimum return. In oil, they call these dry holes. Nobody likes dry holes

Wouldn't be so sure of that.. You might just be surprised at all the kids that would leave to go south to play.. Georgia has two playing in the PA state championships. So how's that? Ones playing in this game now for archbishop wood.. A receiver.. The other is playing tomorrow

QB for Ole Miss went to high school down the road from me. Lots of athletes had south to SEC schools if offered. Not everyone wants to play in the cold.

2 out of....how many? Lol.

You're a wildcatter. You're gonna get lucky a few times. But you're mainly gonna be drilling dry holes.

My point is the risk ain't worth the reward. Wildcatters drill and miss. Drill and miss. Drill and miss. Drill and hit.

Don't drill blindly. Drill where you know there's gonna be oil

Recruiting: Ranking the Most Talented States in the Country

Not to offend you but it isn't worth the marginal spend. There isn't a ton of extra talent compared to other states that are in the South. And there is more competition. And it's more expensive to get too.

Let someone else sweep up the PA talent. We have better places to drill for our dollar.

Really?? I've seen Franklin On tv all day.. What's Penn state again? And what are we?.

Is PSU all PA players? No. it's not.

Look. You matter in politics but you aren't worth the money spent to visit HS coaches year in and year out to try and establish the I-81 pipeline.

Atlanta and Memphis and NC are worth more every single time. Both now and in the long run.

You keep watching James Franklin be relevant in the Big 10 where he does so by controlling all the in state cherries in PA then dipping to OH and MD and MI while relying on some of his old mid TN and GA connections.

For my money, I'm going to OH and MI instead of PA when I recruit north.
