Southern Miss is who I would suspect. But I have no earthly idea how you could pick someone 7th out of 6 teams.

Reminds me of an old Johnny Bravo cartoon, in which Johnny competes in a talent show with little Suzie as her partner. He comments about how 9th place wasn't so bad. Suzie then says, "But there were only 6 contestants"
