I have seen people complaining for years about Wayne taking so many three's.
I don't have a problem with him shooting an open 3 at all and never will. I have never looked up his % from beyond the arc and really don't care. I feel like he is a good enough shooter to take those looks. I would much rather see him shoot a three than woolridge, goins, or prince from beyond 10 feet for that matter.
What I do have a problem with is when he is constantly floating on the perimeter. He can be very productive in the paint when he decides to. I understand in the flex the post and guards interchange on down screens and back screens but alot of times he is standing around beyond the arc outside of the half court o and I can definitely see where people who know basketball can become frustrated with that due to his lack of presence around the rim where he is most dominant. What I am sick and tired of is people who don't know basketball are griping and moaning about a post player shooting shots outside of 15 feet. This versatility of him being able to knock down shots from the perimeter really helps his NBA stock because his size and strength won't be dominant alone in the next level.
