Easterwood is usually spot on, but I have no clue what he is talking about here.

I would really lol if UK, Memphis, and UT has a triangle coaching swap. Cal to UK, Pearl to U of M, Billy Clyde here. Won't happen, though.

Here's the thing...Easterwood used to be something. Now he is nothing. He is doing this stealth, generic posting so he can get stuff stirred up, but when it doesn't happen, he can blame it on Memphis for not pulling thru.

Fact is, Memphis is now a midlevel job.

If Pearl would not leave for Indiana last year or Arizona or some of the other big name schools that have came up he sure as heck won't go to the dump known as Memphis.

Yeah and how many times do we see Presidential candidates make fun of fellow party candidates and rip them to shreds, only to them play nice after the nomination is made?

Money changes a lot of things. Coaches say things all the time and then do a total 180. I don't think Pearl will go but I'm not going to act like it's 100% impossible either.

Bruce didn't go to Indiana because Indiana had exactly zero interest in hiring him. Last time I checked, Arizona hasn't hired a coach yet.

I know you will hate to hear this, but this did happen, but it wasn't Pearl who made contact. Agent out of Wisconsin is already involved.

CBP is going nowhere at this time. I know some of you believe that he will jump no matter what is said, however, CBP has two children, I believe, in school in Knoxville. His ex has custody. He is not going to go halfway across the country away from his family to coach at Arizona. Not going to happen.

Nolan Richardson will be the next Coach at Memphuss!
