Per their "source" in Knoxville, we have swayed Teague from UF, Lacy from Bama, get Greg King, Marlon Brown, and Myles. These are all supposed to be done deals. Plus, there will be a couple of possible surprises. They think we keep Oku.

Take it FWIW.

Lol - those 3 guys are idiots - well mainly just 2 of them that do the talking. The only one worse is Stump.

Quake and Dr B are always on the money....have great sources. I just can't believe this if right. I am going to turn on the show and listen. Great stuff coming from Talk Radio though.

May not be saying much....but the Chattanooga show is tons better than the Knoxville show. You may not like them but Quake and Dr B have great sources and don't come out with info unless it is good info. So we'll see.

I find them very entertaining every day, but I usually don't put a lot of stock into their sources. It's more entertainment than news but that's really their deal anyway.:)

You are right hixsonvol....but they have good sources and they are usually very reliable. Wouldn't this be something!

I would not be surprised if he chooses the Vols.

Last report was everything was even. He has not visited UT yet, makes us the leader by default. We got the last word.

I like our chances. IMO

I just tuned into talk radio and a uga fan called in. saying they would get marlon brown and about the church issue, etc. quake said no way marlon is going to uga...that it is a done deal for brown to ut. quake never makes predictions like this just to be doing it. only does it with very good sources. call me crazy...but i believe it. i know anything can happen...but until this i really thought he was uga bound.

I remember when Dr. and Quake first broke the story when Jamal Lewis was injured and out for year in 1998.

Knoxville shows were blasting them for it...turned out they were right.

Quake is not one to just make claims. If anything he is the ying to Dr's orange yang (although they are both UT fans).

I remember that well...Quake and the Dr have broke several UT stories. But don't do it lightly. As a matter of fact I really don't remember them saying anything about UT was a done deal and they were wrong. I first learned about Kiffin being named coach days before the Knoxville writers and others named it. When Quake is this certain....I listen.

Now, I didn't hear it, sometimes quake can be sarcastic. without hearing his tone, i am not sure.

And Quake does not get caught up in the recruiting either he actually hates it so for him to report it it must be a very trusted source. I almost ran into the ditch when I heard it.

I remember him also saying we were stealing a huge 5-star basketball recruit, who had already committed to a school after the '06-'07 season that would be the missing link to this team - a true center/defensive presence. That didn't happen - and he guaranteed it and couldn't have been any more confident of his "sources".

Well, I don't think Ill throw anyone under the bus for a little while. KNS got something right for the first time in years.

Although - to Quake's credit - we did get Tyler Smith that off-season - but I remember him clearly saying it would be a defensive stopper and a big post presence - what we had been missing - and that we were stealing him from a school he was committed to right now... so he was saying the kid was in high school still.
