Wish you would have proven my prediction wrong. Pretty tight all the way through which I expected. Tough call late that gave them a chance. Not sure they got it right. Wish you the best against Kentucky and understand your disappointment. Keep your heads up.

Classy post...thank you. That call showed no evidence to over turn the ruling on the field IMHO. That is what my problem with the call was....never could tell where the ball was at and his hands looked like they were down at his belly button area...oh well...tears in a bucket :cray:

My wife said the same thing. She watched it live and then caught the replay and told me that's not gonna stand up. When she came back in she actually cussed. She doesn't cuss.

Go get an autograph from Johnny "Football". Wait that'll cost you. I'm joking.

Appreciate the sentiment, but it should not have come down to one call. Objectively looking at it throughout, Vandy was the stronger team. We don't deserve a bowl game. All we can hope for is stronger recruits to replace some of these weaklings we have carried who weren't actually sec quality.

Settle down dude.

Don't pay attention to that, bud. A lot of fans on here are pretty butt-hurt about the game. Thanks for the nod.
The aggies took a loss to a very good LSU team. I can understand how you feel.
Have a good day.
GO VOLS!

How was Vandy the stronger team? They had 4 TO's and less than 200 yards of offense until the final drop where they gained 92! The defense played lights out until it mattered.

It was the Block in the Back call that cost us the game.
It happens all the time and never gets called, except us. :banghead2:
Vandy even did it BLATANTLY on one play in front of the ref.
17-14 TN if that TD isn't called back.

Tough loss to LSU. The only thing I can say is you can see the quality of DC and point to Duke to see the quality of OCs we had here once upon a time. I think you guys will handle Mizzou next week and it will be a shoot out.

Settle down dude.

Haha I always envision the guys who get mad when a fan of another team posts here have the hardest time making friends in real life....

We can also hope that this coaching staff improves substantially and shows it can develop players. It hasn't so far. We desperately need more athletes. We similarly need better coaching.

On the other hand, they laid the ball on the ground twice in the red zone, once at the 2.... couldve easily put 14 more pts on the board without those mistakes. They controlled the line of scrimmage throughout and when it came time to take the game over and win it, they moved the ball at will. Not once did I ever feel like UT had control of the game.... because they didn't.

Thanks for the thoughts TA&M07. That game was ours to lose, and we achieved just that. Now it's up to the team to hold on to one of the few records we have left by beating UK. Hard to do when there's really nothing else to play for but pride.

I've never understood the "if they hadn't turned the ball over, they could've scored and won" argument. That's part of the damn game and it did happen, and we forced those TO's. If we hadn't thrown an interception on a fake FG and instead completed it for a TD we win. See how easy that is? Good teams don't turn the ball over in those situations and then play the "if this and if this didn't happen" game afterwards.

Controlled the LOS? They ran for 90 yards we ran for 180+ and had a higher YPC average. This is one of the best rushing performances I've seen from us this year, especially considering we had no passing game to keep them honest.
