Baylor is appealling the ruling.
Ken Starr is a sharp man and even sharper attorney. He also knows the state of our athletic department, where we've been and where we're going. Can't imagine him giving Ian the green light to appeal anything unless he felt we had a good case.
Agreed. I can't see him dragging something out that would end in a big embarrassment for the University

Baylor vs OU game on ESPN 3 @ 7 PM. NCAA has delcared the Jones case to be a Non-Institutional Violation. Jones dressed for game but not playing.

According to ESPN Jones' AAU coach made 3 small loans of less than 1k to Jones' parents. The loans were documented and repaid...must be why the AA let him dress for the game. You think ESPN and the NCAA is doing exactly what Drew wants them to do? If Baylor beats OU and Jones' folks prove repayment then Jones should be on the floor to play Texas.

Yeah, playing a game you need to keep your crappy, undisciplined group of reprobates in contention to sneak into the NCAA Tournament without your center is a huge win. That Drew is awesome. I'm stunned nobody has snapped him up yet.
