Hey guys, sorry I know this isn't football related or UT related whatsoever...but after nearly a year of trying and being discouraged and worried, my wife is pregnant! She won't let me tell anyone else yet, which I understand, but I wanted to share with my VN family. Mods can move, but I had to share. Go Vols!

You're about to discover a side of yourself you never knew existed. The love you have for your own kid is special - congrats.

Great news!...you're in for countless hours of lost sleep that won't matter...nothing like it...congratulations...you didn't break any promises by telling us...we're "nobody"

I became a father for the first time 7 months ago (this coming Monday). It's a feeling that you will cherish and never experience anything else like it. Congratulations. :)

Congratulations, me and my wife were told for ten years she couldnt have a child, and as soon as we began the process of foster adoption, we found out she was pregnant. Now that miracle girl is 25 and has a son of her own (our only grandchild) named Peyton. Isnt life wonderful. Happy for you. :hi:

Congrats. I have two boys 18 months apart. Ages 2 and almost 4.
It really isn't nearly as hard as everyone will tell you. Sure, you'll lose some sleep, but you'll get used to it pretty quickly. People had me terrified, but as long as the kid is healthy, it's all pretty easy and fun.
