Anybody else feel sorry for Dooley?

I don’t think he tried screwing Tennessee like Butch and Pruitt and Kiffin did, he was just a bad coach we never should have hired.
He just seems pathetic after being the head coach at UT and it’s like nobody seemed to care he was here yesterday.
Has to be a bit humiliating.

This is my understanding - and someone please correct me if I'm wrong. But, Dooley helped with the design and implementation of some of the great facilities that the program has access to now. He screwed up in a lot of ways, but I'll give him credit for that.

He was an administrative guy that knows football and tried to do both. Dooley would be a great AD somewhere. The man knows football but just doesn’t cut it to be a head coach.

I honestly thought when he went to the NFL, he would start getting into the administrative side, like an assistant GM or director of scouting.
